Condition Zero v1.2 next week

Everyone loved to criticise the original release but can you resist this new update?

Valve have announced a new update to Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, which they say is due out next week (mind you, they’ve said a lot of things about release dates in the past). The update will include new high-definition hostage models with all new A.I., two new player models, new maps and other, unnamed, enhancements.

The new and improved hostages will now be able to show fear and will even try to escape on their own if you don’t make a good enough job of it yourself. The two new player models will apparently be a Russian Spetsnaz counter-terrorist and a “militia” terrorist.

Because this is, at least indirectly, a Valve game the update will only be available via Steam, so if you haven’t got a copy of that yet download it from here to get ready for next week.
