Counter-Strike: Source beta imminent

At this rate Counter-Strike: Source will be finished before Half-Life 2.

Valve has announced that is just about to recruit its first beta testers for Counter-Strike: Source – the revamped version of Counter-Strike using Half-Life 2’s Source engine.

A limited time beta will apparently begin later this summer via Steam, with subscribers of the Valve Cybercafe program getting the first invites to join the beta, after which owners of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero will also be offered a chance to join the party.

Everyone else though can forget ever getting a chance to join in, so now might be the time to dig around for Condition Zero in the bargain bins. No other information was revealed about the game, its release date or indeed Half-Life 2’s status. But at this stage are you really going to believe anything until you see it on shop shelves?

hey some of my have cs beta source on their computer and that steam updated and put it on their. any ideas on how i can put cs beta source on my computer?
