The Third Reich Community Edition 1.3 is here

About 4 months ago, we had an interview with Lt_Reno about the The Third Reich 1.3, the Community Edition patch for the popular World War II modification for UT99. And the long wait is finally over, the patch is ready to be downloaded. Needless to say that you’ll need the full package of TTR 1.2 first before applying the patch.

TTR 1.3:CE or better now as TheThirdReich version 1.3:Community Edition has been released. We hope we won't be needing any emergency patches as sometimes bugs just creep into the code in the last minute.

Bug fixes:
° Fixed potential server crash with chase cam
° Fixed webadmin console not relaying chat messages
° Fixed potential maplist mess up, TTR now uses a seperate maplist
° Fixed bot accuracy, bots now shoot more realisticly
° Fixed access none in scorekill() when bots Tk'ed
° Fixed allied spawn problems on merkers
° Game options in Preferences now actually 'save'
° Rewrote holdarea to now be recappable
° Changed weapons for officer/sniper, will now start with pistol + main weapon. Can be disabled server side.

Additions:

--- If you completed 2 objectives you get a gold medal on the HUD
° Added partial zoom, allows you to zoom when aimed by toggling a key
° Added footsteps, when the server has this enabled the clients can hear footsteps if they set that options to true. May cause lag
° Added No Death View options which disables players viewing their body when died
° Made picking up weapons easier, when you pick it up and you already have a primary it'll drop your current weapon automatically.
° Added Performance Manager - BETA support
° Added Decal Manager - BETA support
° Added and prolonged duration of some minor hit effects
° Added Invasion game a gametype which works with a maximum number of lives per team and recapturable objectives
° Added maps from official mappack 1.2
° Added TTRArena version 1.7 mutator, made compatible with 1.3
